Following the Government announcement on Monday 4th January 2021 it is with regret that both our centres will close at the end of normal hours on that same day. We dont have a reopen date as yet, we await further Government instruction and updates will be emailed to Teme Members, placed on our Website, Teme Leisure App and Social Media platforms. Hopefully you can find answers to any questions or concerns below however if not please do email us.
In the meantime – please stay safe, stay active and continue to follow the Government guidelines,
Please be rest assured you will not be out of pocket. Sadly, the Government announcement was too late for us to freeze or stop your January payment being taken which was due yesterday (4th Jan), we are aware you will not make use of your membership during January so we will instead transfer the payments to when we have re-opened. When we have more details and dates for this we will update further PLEASE NOTE: you DO NOT need to do anything for this. We will do it for you. Please do not cancel your direct debit
Annual members we will extend your membership by the number of days the closure and will contact you with you new renewal date.
All classes after this have been cancelled from Tuesday 5th January onwards. Again, as like the previous closure all pre-paid sessions will get credited to each child and be used on the next block. We will inform of a restart date and children will automatically continuing where we left. We will be in touch to confirm
Those of you who have pre-paid in advance for a Class, Gym or Swim session from Tuesday 5th Jan onwards we have a record of your booking and we will be in touch to arrange you this payment to be moved onto another session when we re-open. Please bear with us while we get in touch.
How You Can Help
Teme Leisure is a social enterprise with exempt charity status and we operate as a not for profit organisation working for the benefit of the local communities we serve; we are therefore sending a plea for support from you during these extremely difficult financial times.
We have been overwhelmed by the response and kind messages you have been sending in with ways to help. Many members have kindly offered to continue paying to help support the centre during this closure period. We are aware that not everyone is in a position to be able to do this, however should you wish to very kindly ‘donate’ your January membership fee we have created this online form for you to complete in order for us to action: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/supportteme
PLEASE NOTE we will not collect any fees unless you are happy with this and complete this online form
